Today’s update brings the highly-anticipated Moment 2 features for devices running Windows 11 version 22H2. Some of the highly-anticipated Moment 2 features include:
- This update integrates Microsoft’s AI-powered Bing directly into the Windows taskbar,
- Microsoft is bringing the first preview of Phone Link for iOS, which allows you to link your iPhone directly with Windows 11.
- Windows 11 Quick Settings screen now include Microsoft’s AI-powered Studio Effects for devices with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU).
- The Windows 11 Task Manager now has a search bar at the top of the app that allows you to filter the list of processes by name or the process ID
- Touch-optimized Taskbar that makes it more comfortable when using your Windows 11 device as a tablet.

- Resove an issue that affects AppV and stops file names from having the correct letter case (uppercase or lowercase).
- Addresses an issue that affects Microsoft Edge, and removes conflicting policies for Microsoft Edge. This occurs when you set the MDMWinsOverGPFlag in a Microsoft Intune tenant and Intune detects a policy conflict.
- Addresses an issue that affects provisioning packages, fails to apply in certain circumstances when elevation is required.
- Addresses an issue that affects Universal Print’s Configuration Service Provider (CSP), A command prompt window appears when you install a printer.

Known issues 01
- Copying large multiple gigabytes (GB) files might take longer than expected to finish on Windows 11, version 22H2.
To mitigate this issue, Microsoft recommends use third-party file copy tools that do not use cache manager (buffered I/O)

Provisioning packages may not work as expected. Windows may only be configured partially and the ” Out Of Box Experience might not finish or might restart unexpectedly”.

Windows devices with some third-party UI customization apps might not start up. These third-party apps might cause errors with explorer.exe that might repeat multiple times in a loop.
