• Open the Start menu, then click the Settings icon.

Reset Network And Internet configuration

• On Start menu search Type cmd
• Right-click on the Command prompt and select Run as administrator.
• Type the following commands, then press Enter after typing each command below:

netsh int ip reset resettcpip.txt

netsh winhttp reset proxy

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

netsh winsock reset

Close the command prompt. Now press Windows + R, type services.msc and ok, Here scroll down and look for Service named DNS client. Check its status, If it’s running then right Click and select restart. If the service is not started double click on it change the startup type Automatic and start the service.

Restart your PC to complete the process. And check the Internet connection Started working.

Changing DNS settings in Windows 10

1. Press Windows + R, type ncpa.cpl and ok
2. Here Network connections window, right-click on the Active network adapter and select properties.
3. On the properties window, double click “Protocol 4 (TCP / IPv4)”.
4. Finally, on the IP Version 4 Properties page (TCP / IPv4) – select “Use the following DNS server addresses” and enter

• “Preferred DNS server” as 8.8.8.8
• “Alternate DNS server” as 8.8.4.4

Note: These are the values of the Google DNS server.

Click “OK” and the settings will be saved. Thus, the problem with the network that you are facing should be solved.

Fix Edge Browser problem

• From C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages, select and delete the following folder: Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe (Select “Yes” on any confirmation dialog that follows.)
• Then In %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\SettingSync\metastore, delete meta.edb, if it exists.
• In %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\SettingSync\remotemetastore\v1, delete meta.edb, if it exists.

And Turn “on” Device Sync Settings Settings > Accounts > Sync your Settings > Sync Settings.

Now Right-click on the Windows 10 Start menu, Select Powershell (Admin)

Copy the following command, then Paste it in the PowerShell window and press Enter to run it:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}

When the command completes, Restart your PC (Start > Power > Restart).
